DHARMA HERITAGE PROJECT

<Dharma Heritage Website

These images show my wife’s family members and their close friends in Derge, Kham, Eastern Tibet.  The first five images were made about seven years ago and were sent by e-mail from Tibet to my wife and the first image is of my wife’s aunt, the last surviving of ten siblings.  The rest of the images were made in 2013 by my brother-in-law during a trip that he, his wife, and two sons made to Derge.  These people, their homes, temples, and environment would be a major part of my photographic study.  You see the important Dzongsar Monastery and the Derge Parkhang, also known as the Derge Sutra Printing Temple.  D.F.
